Family Crest

The original family crest was the idea of the late Rev. Robert Seaward and his wife Mary Beth in the early 1990's. At a family gathering Washington, DC, they expressed the desire to create a visual that would serve as a time-honored reminder as to why we come together as a family.  Accordingly, several family members worked together to design and develop a crest that would communicate the true essence and beliefs of the Seward/Seaward family.  After much discussion and many designs later, the final crest was created.

In the middle of the crest is a pyramid and in pyramid is "God."  A pyramid is a triangle shape with the upper part converging on a single point at the top.  Our triangle represents the God-Head as in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

If we continue to Believe, we will Achieve all things through Christ and Succeed in everything we do. The pyramid always points to God as the single source as the head of our lives.
